Sports Conditioning

Overall conditioning for all athletes. Classes will focus on speed, agility, reaction time, and overall body strength. Games, drills, and body weight exercises will be utilized to create fun and effective conditioning classes. 

Ages

8U sessions are for athletes ages 4-8 (not turning 9 in 2026). Athlete must be able to follow directions, wait in lines, and listen to instructions.

9+ sessions are for athletes 9 and older that can sustain an hour of conditioning and body work.

When

Winter Conditioning goes from January 7 until February 11.

  • Session 1: 1/7-1/21
  • Session 2: 1/26-2/11

Where

Practices will be held at the Woodminster Cascade Stairs. Athletes should bring a mat/towel for core work, as well as a water bottle.

When are practices and how often are they?

Example: Teams practice 2-3 times per week.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age can join?

Any athlete 8 and older (turning 9 in 2026) that can fully participate in 60-minutes of training can participate in the 9+ class.

Athletes 4-8 (not turning 9 in 2026) can join the 8U class as long as they can listen and take part in 30 minutes of physical activity.

Who is this for?

Any child looking to increase overall fitness levels for personal gains and/or sports.

What if my child cannot attend all days in the session, is it prorated?

Unfortunately the cost is for a spot in the class, not day to day. Prices will not be prorated.

What if it rains during a class time?

Classes are rain or shine unless the weather is extremely inclement. 

What should by child bring?

All athletes should bring layers (jacket/sweatshirt), a yoga mat, and a water bottle.
