Why Running?
WHY TRACK AND FIELD/CROSS COUNTRY?
POPULARITY:
- Over 4,000 youth athletes compete for the Pacific Association per year.
- Running is a sport that can be done throughout one's lifespan.
- Teaches life skills and healthy life habits.
- Running is the best of team and individual sports.
- Kids will get in over 3 hours of physical activity per week.
EASY TO LEARN:
- Technique is taught in phases for easy learning.
- Runners are placed in groups based on running age, not birth age during practices to allow everyone to run at their level.
OPTIONAL TEAM ACTIVITIES:
- Team Dinners
- Capture the Flag Days
- Pool Party after certain meets
- End of Season Celebration
- Team Camping Trip
GLOBAL REACH:
- Cross Country and Track and Field is a world-wide sport with many elite athletes from the USA.
INJURIES:
- While injuries can occur in any sport, proper conditioning is utilized to gain strength and speed.
- Runners learn to listen to their bodies and understand the difference between soreness from working hard and injury.
PHYSICAL FITNESS:
- The great thing with running is that the more you do it the better you get, and everyone can PR (personal record).
- All levels welcomed and all levels will see success in goals and improvements made.

2025 CROSS COUNTRY: August -December
- $300-550 8U (Born in 2017 or later)
- $650-875 Regular Season
- $175 Uniform Kit (singlet and shorts & warm-up pants and jacket, socks, backpack)
2025 SPEED & HURDLE CONDITIONING: September-November
- Tuesday 6-7:30p
- $400/athlete (max 20 athletes)
- Focus on form, acceleration, speed, and technique
2025 TRACK & FIELD: February - August (tentative prices; may change based on track rental fees)
- 3 Sessions
- 8U: $350/session or $950 for the full season
- Regular Session: $600/session or $1650 for the whole season.
- $150 Uniform Kit (compression top and shorts & warm-up pants and jacket, socks, backpack)
- Pro-rate for high school athletes depending on start date
- Added fees for Championship Meets and Junior Olympic Fees
