National Champions and All-American Athletes

The Cubs had a great 2022 Track and Field Season. We ended the season on a high note at the 2022 Junior Olympics at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, CA. The weather was hot, but our athletes took on the challenge and competed against some of the greatest youth track and field athletes in the nation.

Congratulations to all of the athletes that competed in the USATF 2022 Track and Field Junior Olympics at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, CA. We had an outstanding showing with multiple athletes creating new personal records and others gaining National Champion and All-American status. Talia G. and Ava T. both took National Champion for their age group in Racewalk. In addition, Ava T. gained All-American status in Aero-Jav and in the 1500m run. For the 13-14 age group, Chloe L. gained All-American status in the 3000m.

Congratulations to all of the athletes that competed. Their hard work and dedication throughout the season showed. Well done and Go Cubs!

Next Up...Junior Olympics!

Congratulations to all athletes this season! Although it was a very different season with social distancing and practices in the park, we had many great improvements. Many athletes had PRs in their events and technique in field and running events improved greatly. We even had some athletes set meet records (Ava in 1500RW and Troy in Shot Put @ AAU West Coast Championship & Talia in 3000RW @ Seaside).  Junior Olympics will begin July 26th. Good luck to athletes taking part!
